Utilizing a service-oriented architecture (SOA), Linxter is based on open standards and consists of three components. Together, these components provide a scalable, redundant, and flexible platform for sending messages securely and reliably over the Internet.
- Linxter Internet Service Bus:
- The Linxter ISB is the hosted, collective set of back-end services that processes messages between programs.
- Linxter Software Development Kit:
- The Linxter SDK contains the API needed to integrate applications with the Linxter ISB.
- Linxter Web Manager:
- The Web Manager is the interface used to administer Linxter enabled programs and developer accounts.
Note:The Linxter SDK is currently supported on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, and Azure. Future versions of it will support Google Android, iPhone, Windows Phone 7 and Linux.
